Getting to Chiltern, Victoria

Road

Chiltern is a three-hour drive from Melbourne via the M31 Hume Freeway. The turn-off is well signposted 20 minutes past Wangaratta.

If driving from Sydney, expect a six-hour drive along the Hume. The turn-off is 20 minutes past Wodonga.

Air

Albury airport is about 40 minutes from Chiltern. Qantas and REX (Regional Express) operate several flights daily from Melbourne and Sydney. Check airline websites for current flight information. Hire cars are available from Albury Airport.

Train

Vline rail services run daily from Melbourne and Sydney, stopping directly in Chiltern. The XPT rail service runs daily and stops at Wangaratta and Albury. Contact VLine services and NSW TrainLink XPT for timetable information.

Bus
